Our HEIRS OF ISILDUR campaign is right around the corner, and we have a reveal a day for the next seven business days, leading up to the launch. Today is #1 + We also explain WHAT IS HEIRS OF ISILDUR?
Hey everyone! We hope you’re ready to rock in this new year of 2025. Our Kickstarter campaign for HEIRS OF ISILDUR: THE PERILOUS PROSPECTS 1-4 is right around the corner (launching on January 14th - please go FOLLOW / BOOKMARK IT HERE ). We’ve already revealed TWO covers, and from today through launch eve (January 13th) we’re going to have a REVEAL A DAY (every business day) up to the launch. That’s SEVEN IN SEVEN DAYS!
These reveals could be anything from COVERS, to MERCH, to CROSS PROMOS & EARLYBIRD INCENTIVES. Just know that from the three groups we just mentioned, there are at least TWO from every group (let your imaginations dwell on what the items might be). We’re also going to take the time to answer some other questions you might have - today we explore the introductory question: WHAT IS YOUR STORY, HEIRS OF ISILDUR, ABOUT?

SEVEN REVEALS IN SEVEN DAYS #1: NEW SHIRTS!
Since Book #1 of THE PERILOUS PROSPECTS you’ve seen Constable Barnabas Bigsby, along with all the other members of the Shadow’s Haven BRIGADE, running around with a cool dragon centric symbol on their helmets. Now, for the first time, you can wear it YOURSELF with the full-color adaptation on a BLACK or GREY shirt! These will be available in tiers, as well as in the add-ons!
ANSWER ME THIS: WHAT IS THE ‘HEIRS OF ISILDUR’ STORY ABOUT?
One of the things we want to improve on in 2025 is making sure that everyone, from the seasoned, long-time supporter, to the person just happening upon us for the first time, has a solid understanding of what our stories are about.
Because we are about to launch the fourth installment of HEIRS OF ISILDUR: The Perilous Prospects, we want to start here.
The Perilous Prospects story arc takes you through this group's efforts to come up with a solution that'll stop the worsening effects of an apocalypse that they helped cause. They have to be careful, however, because there's an out of control militia patrolling the village, dropping an iron fist on anyone they think might've contributed to the mountainscape's unfolding chaos... that's now more terrifying than ever.
Does this explain every nuance of the story? Of course not! But by having this brief synopsis, you at least can better understand the character motivations and actions. In every issue, we also make sure to have ‘Previously In…’ section at the beginning, that helps to refresh about the pertinent story points, as well as some brief character profiles. We want YOU to have all the necessary tools to enjoy the story at its fullest!
Lastly - If you're a previous supporter, we've made sure there are new goodies for you to sink your teeth into. If you're BRAND NEW TO THIS TITLE and UNIVERSE, don't fret! We've gotcha covered! We'll do our best to help you see a clear path to jump right in and enjoy this journey! We have catch-up tiers, a reading order chart, and more! These will be included in the full campaign!
