Nightmare Before Christmas + HUGE I AM QIDO news + more!
Massive progress for I AM QIDO + a new ART PANEL + a new article from Steph + so much more!
The first weekend WITHOUT a show in over a month (last weekend), allowed us here at #TeamINSYM to focus on some other tasks that needed our attention. Today we give you a HUGE I AM QIDO update, we share a brand new article, we have some WEBSITE updates to share, and more. So let’s get down to it!
I AM QIDO STORY INKS, LETTERS, and FLATS are DONE!
As you can see from the previously unreleased panel (above), the DARK KONQUESTORS aren’t able to contain their excitement over the news that the story INKS, FLATS, and LETTERS (first pass) for I AM QIDO are done!
So, what’s left? The editing process has now started. The colors are about 60% of the way completed, and the pre/post story pages, as well as the final production to get the full project ready for the printer, still await. So, while we are a considerable way into the process, there are still many battles to be fought before the conquest is complete.
DON’T FORGET: YOU STILL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO GET YOUR FANART INTO THE BOOK!
Indietober is still going on for the month of October, and if you submit your I AM QIDO fan art to us before October 31st, you could see YOUR creation recognized within the pages of the upcoming book!

Post your I AM QIDO fan art in the group!
EVERYONE who posts art concerning I AM QIDO will get, at minimum, a digital PDF copy of the book AND (at minimum) get their name listed as a 'thank you for participating' in the book
SOME will see their creation included in a collage in the back appendix of the book itself!
ONE lucky person will also get a signed physical copy of the book, and have their art featured!
WHERE CAN WE FIND REFERENCES FOR 'QIDO'? Here's a link to our INSYM SAMPLER where there is a nine page excerpt from the story, including QIDO himself. We'll also include some additional images in the Indietober group!
BUT WAIT - THERE'S MORE! We're giving you the option of FOUR different characters from I AM QIDO to submit: QIDO, his friend TATSUMI, the Dark Konquestor BLAZZOK, and CORDEYLIA DIVINA! And if you see another character you'd like to take a crack at - go for it!
