Hey everyone! Matt & Steph here from INSYMMETRY CREATIONS (aka #TeamINSYM) with a HUGE BLOG of DESTINY update!
MISFITZ CLUBHOUSE: SHARKS, DRAGONS, & LITTLE RED WAGONS is FINISHED and OFF TO THE PRINTERS!
We are suuuuuper stoked to inform everyone that the next installment in the insanity that chronicles the wacky adventures of MEEKY FERRY SLOTHIE and STIG is DONE and sent to the printers! We are super happy with how this issue turned out and really thankful for all the hard work from RAHIL MOHSIN, MARCOS ROCHA, PETER RAYMUNDO, and EMILY RIESETT who helped bring our nutty ideas to life! We’ll keep everyone updated on the print and release schedule!
‘IT’S A LONELY LIFE BEING KRAMPUS’ IS ALSO DONE!
SURPRISE! We have ANOTHER awesome ANTHOLOGY piece ready to go as well! ‘IT’S A LONELY LIFE BEING KRAMPUS’ will be included in HOLIDAY SPIRITS: Christmas In July #2! We were able to put a dark tale, ‘RAZING SPIRITS’, in the most recent ‘Holiday Spirits’ anthology (#2). This time around, we go the comedic route with our take on Krampus! What does he do in the 11 months that AREN’T a part of his holiday season? Come find out in this laugh out loud tale of a sad sack Krampus like you’ve never seen him before.
We couldn’t be any happier with how this piece turned out - JOSE CARDENAS absolutely destroyed with the art and has us all laughing with the number of easter eggs included. A big shout-out as well to JEROME GAGNON at ORANGE CONE PRODUCTIONS for asking us to take part once again!
The overall issue is still coming together (there are two other stories in this 24 page issue), but the belief is that it will be ready to go earlier this summer! We’ll let you know as soon as it’s available!
APPEARANCE ANNOUNCEMENT: SPOOKALA III is now OFFICIAL!
This June 9th-11th, #TeamINSYM will be BACK at the HOTTEST horror convention in Florida, SPOOKALA! Matt will once again be pulling double duty, as the weekend panel host / emcee. WHO will be taking the stage with him?
Here’s what we know so far: WWE Hall of famer MICK FOLEY has a comedy set on Friday, WAGE WAR will be playing an acoustic set on Saturday, the cosplay contest will close the event on SUNDAY, and there will be all kinds of amazing Q&A sessions as well throughout the weekend. We’ll announce more details soon!

KICKSTARTER UPDATES!
I AM QIDO (the HEIRS OF ISILDUR spinoff, following QIDO's time prior to coming through the portal) is coming along nicely. This is fictional far east adventure horror - think If Mortal Kombat and Soul Caliber met Mad Max. We expect this graphic novel to be on KS sometime this summer. The progress is going well, but there's a long way to go until we're ready to release. You can bookmark the campaign HERE now.
That being said - one of the cool things we anticipate doing with our PAID subscriber section on Substack, alongside special supporter discounts and incentives + special supporter articles, are FIRST / ADVANCE LOOKS at characters and art for upcoming releases. Some of the very first glimpses and details about I AM QIDO will happen THERE.
We’re also helping out SCOUT COMICS (the national distribution home of MISFITZ CLUBHOUSE) with their campaign for RANGER STRANGER Volume 1! Imagine if ARCHER was a deranged forest ranger! This campaign launches TUESDAY April 25th at 11am EST and is a title you don’t want to miss. This is some super fun stuff!
