SPIRAL INTO MADNESS is told from QIDO’s perspective and gives a whole new angle to the story that’s about to unfold in this graphic novel. In the YAMARAN EMPIRE the firstborn in each household holds a special place and is granted an opportunity to elevate their family’s social status during their 21st year.
QIDO, as the younger twin brother of KENJXI, doesn’t have that opportunity as a part of his birthright, so he’s worked diligently to help his sibling train and prepare for the all-important ‘Day Of Allotment’. This is the festival when Emperor OKANA KATU surveys that year’s candidates and decides who, if any, will be picked to join his Elite Guard.
Everything was going exactly as planned… until it didn’t.
