Another LIVE APPEARANCE announcement, a MINI 'What are We Consuming' with an ALBUM OF YEAR candidate, some IMPORTANT info on MISFITZ CLUBHOUSE, a new CFBDynasty podcast, and more!

Heyooooo - Matt and Steph here from INSYMMETRY CREATIONS. As we prep for our travel next week to GEEK’D CON in Shreveport, LA, we have some news items to touch on, so let’s get right down to it!

SIGNING EVENT: CTHULHU INVADES FAMOUS FACES!

#TeamINSYM’s Matt will be at FAMOUS FACES AND FUNNIES (Melbourne, FL) tomorrow, 8.10.24, from 4pm-8pm, alongside a bunch of other creators (listed above) that are in the recently released CTHULHU INVADES NEVERLAND anthology (Orange Cone Productions). This is a massive edition (over 200 pages)! The store will have the issues, and those there will sign, PLUS everyone will have some of their other titles. So Matt will have a small assortment of all of the INSYM releases there (I AM QIDO, TALES FROM NOCTURNIA, HEIRS OF ISILDUR, and another title that we get into below.)

MISFITZ CLUBHOUSE NEWS… FINALLY!

Alongside HEIRS OF ISILDUR, TALES FROM NOCTURNIA, and I AM QIDO, we have a super fun, Saturday morning cartoon inspired series called MISFITZ CLUBHOUSE. It’s actually the only series that hasn’t had a release in 2024 so far. We DO have future plans for MEEKY, FERRY, SLOTHIE, and STIG, but it’s been a long time since we’ve seen our clubhouse crew.

With this in mind, we are crafting a fun way to reintroduce this fearsome foursome to you. Keep your eyes peeled, because NEXT WEEK we’re gonna tell you how you can enjoy their wacky shenanigans in a brand new way!

WHAT ARE WE CONSUMING? MINI EPISODE 4

Not a full-blown WAWC this time around, but we couldn’t wait to share this next item. Every year #TeamINSYM’s Matt does a ‘Most Memorable Music of the Year’ list. Sometimes an album jumps out early in the year that is unable to be matched, other times it takes a while for a release to rise up. This year, FELIX MARTIN’S The Gathering has decided to take the lead as the current baseline that all other albums will be judged on for AOTY accolades.

And yeah you’re seeing that picture correctly. Double necked, 14 to 16 string tapping guitars, and a double necked 10 string bass. This is mesmerizing instrumental prog-rock/metal.

Will anything come along and overtake it for album of the year? (maybe)
Will anyone play as many strings per instrument as these dudes? (absolutely not!)
