CHARACTER PROFILE: Shiver
Today look at another HEIRS OF ISILDUR character and we get closer to the launch of the next installment in that series!
As we prepare for the launch of HEIRS OF ISILDUR: THE PERILOUS PROSPECTS: BOOK THREE on KICKSTARTER (February 6th - BOOKMARK and FOLLOW here) we're bringing you another CHARACTER PROFILE: Shiver. These summaries are designed to re-introduce characters and help explain their position at the start of the issue. So here we go:
Shiver didn’t ask for this, not a single solitary part of any of it. When he crawled through that first portal, out of his primitive frozen wasteland and into Mykal’s laboratory, he had no idea where fate would later place him. After quickly assimilating into life in Shadow’s Haven, alongside Mykal Isildur, a catastrophic, supernaturally enhanced explosion has reconfigured all that he and everyone else has come to understand as true and real.
Somehow, he’s now been transposed into Mykal’s professional life, forcing him to impersonate the one who’s quickly become his best friend. He’ll do it without hesitation if it means helping out the group, especially if it buys time for the(hopeful) return of the ‘Timekeeper’, Mykal Isildur, to this existential plane.
He’s the last person that should be overseeing the Father Time Emporium. The technology and skillset needed is far beyond his capabilities. Luckily, he has MURK right there by his side, but how long can they pull off their ruse? Will the Havenites ever figure out he’s not the man they think he is?

Believed to be from the past. First person to be called through a portal.

A tip brought to the Shadow’s Haven Policing Brigade (in the form of a mysterious parts pouch) has pointed a finger towards the Artisan and Curator at the FATHER TIME EMPORIUM. Since they believe that’s his identity, he’s been arrested for being a conspirator to the cause of the village’s ongoing apocalypse, as well as a murder.
