Announcing: CALIFORNIA Signing Weekend! Feb 22nd-23rd!
We told you we had a LOT of announcements to make, and we weren't kidding. Come check out where our first events of the new year will be, as well as a couple ICYMI from announcements over the weekend!
Hey everyone! Matt and Steph with another BLOG OF DESTINY update - we told you that we had a LOT of announcements to be made - and today we’re excited to unveil TWO signings, BOTH in the state of CALIFORNIA!
ANNOUNCING: CALIFORNIA SIGNING WEEKEND: FEB 22nd & 23rd 2025!
We’re happy to announce that our first two events of the year are SIGNINGS in the state of CALIFORNIA: One with our favorite sister duo CHESS&GWEN, and one at Steph’s home LCS in Visalia, CA!
To start the weekend off (SATURDAY FEB 22nd), we’ll be at DJ’S COLLECTIBLE SHOPPE in Hanford, CA, alongside Chess & Gwen. They just released the first issue of the own manga graphic novel, THE BOHEMIAN TRIALS, and they’ve already produced FIVE variant covers for us (for HEIRS OF ISILDUR and I AM QIDO), plus the promo image for TATSUMI: THE SERPENT MISTRESS (more about that below).
On Sunday FEB 23rd, we’ll be at STEPH’S local LCS, COLLECTORS CHOICE, in VISALIA, CA! This is where all of Steph’s free comic book day signings have taken place. This will be Matt’s first time at either location!
IMPORTANT NOTES REGARDING INVENTORY: While we intend on having all of our titles present, we expect to have limited quantities for these events. If there is anything specific that you want to get from us, feel free to contact us beforehand ASAP so that we can ensure we actually have it with us. And if you’ve previously got #TeamINSYM swag from Steph and want to get Matt to sign it, feel free to bring it on out!
We can’t wait to see you all during our CALIFORNIA SIGNING WEEKEND, AND we can’t wait to do our first signing alongside CHESS&GWEN!

ICYMI: INTRODUCING-TATSUMI: The Serpent Mistress (coming to KS May of 2025)
TATSUMI: THE SERPENT MISTRESS #1 is the start of a brand new comic series by #TeamINSYM's Matt Knowles and Steph Cannon, once again with Alessandro Ventura manning the artists pencils! Utilizing their I AM QIDO fantasy horror one-shot graphic novel as a prequel, this story arc will follow TATSUMI NAKIHANA, the last remaining daughter of the fallen Yamaran Empire.
She's pursuing a path of retribution and revenge against the evil horde that left her kingdom as nothing more than a trail of embers, ash, and corpses: THE DARK KONQUESTORS. Before she can do that, however, she must figure out her own path of survival in a world she didn't even know existed, aligning with the most unexpected of individuals in a swashbuckling, high seas adventure.
Unlike their most recent releases, ‘TTSM’ will be comic sized in length, with the first issue being 32 pages. The ISSUE #1 campaign will launch in MAY OF 2025! You can FOLLOW and BOOKMARK the campaign here!

Didn't matter if you were young or old, you found a way to enjoy those short little episodes. Now you can relive those nostalgic feelings with MISFITZ CLUBHOUSE: All The Shenanigans So Far!
This long-awaited graphic novel will be 96 pages of short stories that follow the adventures of four neighborhood friends: MEEKY, FERRY, SLOTHIE, and STIG, reminiscent of those lighthearted weekend broadcasts, but in comic form! You'll also meet a host of characters that'll cross their paths, like: BRUCE McTOOTHERSON: Aquatic Investigator, Captain Bluebeard, The Aspariguys, Blingpoz The Alien, The Bully Boys, Old Man Willow, and more!

These vertical scroll versions have a completely different look and feel, and sometimes a slightly extended view into our kiddo’s adventures. This week (On Tuesday) we’ll start OLD MAN WILLOW. We ran (what we think was) a pretty awesome cross-promo with Stabbity Bunny’s ‘STABBITY EVER AFTER #1’, while our campaign was live. THEY are still active until 9PM on WEDNESDAY 2.5.25, and we need to help them finish STRONG!
